I am a trainee integrative psychotherapist and currently studying at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, working towards an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a certificate in psychedelic assisted therapy at Clerkenwell Health. I currently hold level 2 qualifications in Counselling, Mental Health and Guidance. At the core of my current approach to psychotherapy is the relationship between therapist and client, which is shaped and informed by transactional analysis theory, object relations theory, self psychology, and research from various fields.
I believe the power of empathic listening, presence and the fundamental quality of the therapeutic relationship can be greatly impactful for the best interests of a safe, ethical and confidential service for clients. I have also had management and advisory experience in further and higher education settings, working with various departments to support young people throughout their journey whilst in education. My personal interests lay in eastern philosophies and understandings of human life integrated with a deep respect for contemporary scientific research in a world of constant change.
