Children & Family Therapy
Therapy Services for Children & Young People in Leicester
RHCP Ltd offers a therapy service for children and families. Our service is creative and flexible, as we understand that children often require a less formal arrangement to therapy.
Our highly trained and experienced Associate Therapists can work with children from the age of 4 years through to young adults, and their families. A short series of sessions with a therapist can help children overcome a range of emotional health problems, including family changes, anger management, bullying and life-changes.
We ensure all our therapists are DBS checked and are fully insured.
Therapy Services for Children and young People can help with:

Occasionally it can be beneficial for whole families to come together to engage in the therapeutic process. The main aim of Family Therapy is to help people in close relationships to help each other. Family therapy is often recommended when an individual within the family is experiencing emotional issues which have a profound impact upon the whole family, or where a family issue is the root cause for the emotional or psychological problems (eg loss or change in the family).
Family therapy aims to be inclusive and considerate of the needs of each member of the family, and views the functioning of the ‘system’ of the family to be the focus rather than any specific family member. Family therapy supports the notion that family relationships form a key part of the emotional health of each member within that family.
“The therapist has been amazing with our son. He responded so well to what she was doing and her manner with him was excellent. I can’t thank her enough for giving us our happy boy back.”
– John Smith
