Joe is a counsellor and CBT Therapist with over 20 years expertise in helping young adults, adults and older adults who are experiencing common mental health problems. His clients include university students, neurodiverse individuals with conditions like autism or ADHD, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, those who have recently retired, and the bereaved.
Joe offers Interpersonal Therapy where he can help you adjust to major life changes such as divorce or unemployment, manage relationship conflicts, or improve relationships with loved ones. He also offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques where he can assist you in identifying and changing unhelpful and negative thoughts and beliefs about yourself or the world or work with you to plan more pleasant activities which would help to lift your mood or help you to face your fears and go into previously avoided situations.
Joe aims to provide a safe, judgement-free space where you can open up and express your thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to exploring the worries and dilemmas within the context of your life and he enjoys the creative challenge of working collaboratively together.
