Jenny is our Practice Director, Senior Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. Jenny has vast experience of working with most general adult issues, as well as additional specialist experience in the field of body-image and self-esteem. Her ongoing professional interests particularly focus upon understanding and evidencing what we see in the therapy room with neuroscientific research, particularly in respect of self-image and psychological trauma.
Prior to founding the RHCP practice, Jenny worked within NHS Forensic Mental Health Services, International Aid Projects, University Student Support Services and with community projects.
Currently, Jenny’s clinical case work is predominately focused towards working with adults wishing to engage in mid to long-term therapy with a view to understand underlying and/or historical causes to presenting problems or symptomology. As a Relational Developmental Psychotherapist, she aims to work closely with her clients to establish a relationship in which they work together to come to understand why the client thinks, feels and behaves the way they do.
Jenny offers professional Clinical Supervision to other therapists and health and social care professionals who wish to work at relational depth with their clients. She also provides organisational consultancy both within the counselling field and to our corporate clients. Jenny has specialist training and experience in providing psychological support in the aftermath of a serious trauma and delivers Trauma Consultancy nationally.
